Flight 93 Memorial - Time To Say NO!
My new friend, Ken, over at Oblogatory Anecdotes had a conversation with the ACLU regarding the proposed Flight 93 Memorial. Read his conversation here.
Thanks, Ken, for sharing this with us. The libs have a history of eaking things like this through with nowhere near enough opposition. The more it's talked about, the better.
Also, for in depth analyses of the whole project and what it deliberately or otherwise means (these guys have really researched this thing thoroughly!) Check out Junkyard Blog's posts:

And the follow-up:
"Mecca, We Have A Problem"

I don't get it. What exactly is the outrage here? Do you blame the entire Muslim religion for 9/11? Even President Bush says Islam is not to blame for that awful day. Sometimes a crescent is just a crescent. The South Carolina Flag includes a crescent. Is that state promoting a religion? The Christian Coalition logo also includes a crescent. This is all getting so confusing.

The men responsible for the hijacking that ended up in the middle of that field did it in the name of Islam. To put an Islamic symbol within 100 miles of that site would be a slap in the face to everyone who died that day. You're a pretty good typist for a blind person.
